Cleaning the air filter and air filter box

Preparatory work
– Remove the air filter box lid. ( p. 52)

– Wash the air filter thoroughly in special cleaning liquid and allow it to dry properly.

Only press the air filter to dry it; never wring it out.
– Oil the dry air filter with a high quality filter oil.
– Clean the air filter box.
– Check the carburetor connection boot for damage and tightness.
