To establish a conference call:

Transferring a call without speaking 
to the other handset user

During an outside call, press

desired handset number.

If the other handset user does not 
answer the call within 1 minute, the 
call will ring at your handset again.
Registering a handset 
to a base unit
The supplied handset and base unit are 
pre-registered. If for some reason the 
handset is not registered to the base 
unit (for example, w flashes even when 
the handset is near the base unit), 
register the handset.

Base unit:
Press and hold {x} (LOCATOR) for 
about 5 seconds, until the 
registration tone sounds.

If all registered handsets start 
ringing, press {x} (LOCATOR) to 
stop, then repeat this step.

After pressing {x} (LOCATOR), 
the rest of this procedure must be 
completed within 1 minute and 30 
seconds.

Handset:
Press {OK}, then wait until a long 
beep sounds and w stops flashing.

When the handset has been 
registered successfully, w will stop 
flashing. If the key tone is turned 
on (page 28), a confirmation tone 
will be heard.
Deregistering a handset
A handset can cancel its own 
registration (or the registration of 
another handset) that is stored in the 
base unit. This will allow the handset to 
end its wireless connection with the 
system.
