A single serial array unit has up to four serial channels. Each channel can achieve 3-wire serial (CSI), UART, and

C communication.

When “UART0” is used for channels 0 and 1 of the unit 0, CSI00 and CSI01 cannot be used, but CSI10, UART1, or
IIC10 can be used.
Caution Most of the following descriptions in this chapter use the units and channels of the 64-pin products
as an example.
