WARNING
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful intereference when the equipment is operated in
a commercial enviroment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction
manual, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this
equipment in a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the
user will be required to correct the interference at his own expense.
If necessary, the user should consult the dealer or an experienced radio/television
technician for corrective action. The user may find the following booklet prepared by the
Federal Communications Commission helpful: “How to identify and Resolve Radio-TV
Interference Problems”. This booklet is available from the U.S. Government Printing

This reminder is provided to call the CATV system installer’s attention to Art. 820-40 of
the NEC that provides guidelines for proper grounding and, in particular, specifies that
the cable ground shall be connected to the grounding system of the building, as close to
the point of cable entry as practical.
