The Motion Menu allows you to configure the motion settings on your DVR.   

 

To access the Motion Menu, select the Advanced button, select Alarm 

from the list on the left side of the screen, and then select Motion. 



 

CH: Indicates the channel that you will be configuring.   



 

Enable: Allows you to activate motion detection. It is recommended 

that you keep this checked. 



 

Sensitivity: Indicates the level of sensitivity of the camera. The 

lower the sensitivity, the more motion will be needed to start 

recording. 



 

Area: Select Settings to open a new window to block out areas 

that may have constant movement such as trees or roads.     



 

Schedule: Select Settings to open a new window that will show 

when the DVR is set to record alarms.   



 

Trigger: Select Settings to open a new window that will allow you 

to generate different responses by the DVR when motion has been 

detected.
