LOG SET INSTALLATION
Installation of Interior Brick Panels must be completed before installing the log set.
INSTALLATION
Read the instructions below carefully and refer to the diagrams.  
If the logs are broken do not use the unit until they are replaced. 
Broken logs can  interfere with pilot operation.
Log kit (Part No. 546-930 and 546-935) contain the following pieces:
a) 03-41    Log 
Rear 
 
b) 03-42    Log 
Front 
Left
c) 03-43    Log 
Front 
Right  
 
d) 03-44    Log 
Cross 
Left
e) 03-45    Log 
Cross

1)
  Carefully remove the logs from the box and unwrap them. The logs 
are fragile, handle with care - do not force into position.
2)  
Place log 03-41 on the rear log support pins.
The "03" reference numbers (i.e. 03-41) are 
molded into the rear of each log.
3)
  Place log 03-42 on the front left side of the burner. Place the right 
end of the log into the pin and rest the notch on the left end of the 
log on the grate.

4)
  Spread some vermiculite on the front log tray next to log 03-42 as 
shown in the image below.
 
Note: 
Do not build up vermiculite as this will cause the next log  
 
(03-43) not to sit all the way down. Vermiculite is only  
 
needed to conceal the metal inbetween the left and right  
 front 
logs.
