The speed of the fan is raised and the operation 
sound will become louder when this is set to [ON]. 
[COOLING CONDITION]
You can change the fan control depending on the 
direction of projection. 
Set [COOLING CONDITION] correctly in accordance 
with the direction of projection referencing the 
following figure. It may shorten the life of the lamp if 
used in incorrect setting. 
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [COOLING 
CONDITION]. 
2)  Press the <ENTER> button.

[LAMP SELECT]
You can set the brightness using the two luminous 
lamps built inside the projector to dual-lamp or single-
lamp brightness in accordance with the condition or 
purpose of the usage. Setting [SINGLE] automatically 
switches the lamp to be turned on based on the 
duration of use. 
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [LAMP SELECT]. 
2)  Press 
◀▶ to switch [LAMP SELECT].

you press the button.

Two lamps will light. 
[SINGLE]
One lamp will light. (The lamp 
with shorter duration of use is 
automatically selected.)

Lamp unit 1 will light continuously.

In the [SINGLE], [LAMP1] or [LAMP2] mode, 
one lamp remains off or the currently active lamp 
exceeds 2 000 hours of cumulative operating time 
(when [HIGH] is selected as the [LAMP POWER] 
setting), the other lamp will light. In the [DUAL] 
mode, one lamp remains off or the currently active 
lamp exceeds 2 000 hours of cumulative operating 
time (when [HIGH] is selected as the [LAMP 
POWER] setting), the other lamp alone will light. 
However, if both lamps remain off or the 2 000 
hours of cumulative operating time (when [HIGH] is 
selected as the [LAMP POWER] setting).

The text colors of the items indicate the status.
Green  Current setting
Yellow  Current setting
(When there is a lamp that cannot turn on or 
failed to turn on) 
Red  Lamp that has failed to turn on
White  Any other status

If the projector is repeatedly used for short periods 
of time, the lamps will need to be replaced more 
frequently.
