While transmitting the code from the remote, the 
TV button flashes.
If this function does not work, change the 
transmit time. The transmit time varies 
depending on the TV.

The transmit time from the remote is selected.
If you successfully set the transmit time code, 
the TV button flashes twice slowly. If the setting 
is unsuccessful, the TV button flashes 5 times 
quickly.

* Functions as both TV CH + and FUNCTION + 

button.

• This function is only for SONY TVs. (This function 

may not work on some SONY TVs.)

• If distance between TV and this system is too far, this 

function may not work. Install the system near the 
TV.

• Keep the remote pointed in the direction of the TV 

and this system while the TV button is flashing.

• Keep the remote pointed in the direction of the TV 

and this system while entering the code.

You can enjoy multiplex broadcast sound when 
the system receive the Dolby Digital multiplex 
broadcast signal.

Press AUDIO repeatedly until the signal you 
want appears in the front panel display. The 
default setting is underlined.
• MAIN: Sound of the main language will be 

output.

• SUB: Sound of the sub language will be 

output.

• MAIN+SUB: Mixed sound of both the main 

and sub languages will be output.

• To receive the Dolby Digital signal, you need to 

connect a digital satellite tuner to the system with a 
digital cord (pages 39, 40) and set the digital output 
mode of the digital satellite tuner to Dolby Digital.
