BASIC OPERATIONS ON DVD DECK

You can enjoy radio broadcasts by browsing through all the 
stations or using the preset memory function.
There is a time limit when performing the following setting. If the 
time is up before completing the setting, re-perform from the 
beginning.
Tuning In To Stations Manually

Press FM/AM to select the band.
Each time you press the button, the band switches between FM 
and AM.

Press TUNING +/– (
S or T) until the desired station is 
located.
NOTES:
A short press on 
S or T changes the frequency in 1 step FM 
0.05 M/AM 9 K interval.
Press and hold 
S or T to change the frequency rapidly.
To auto tune stations, press 
S or T for a while then release.
ATUNEDB lights on the front display panel when a station with 
sufficient signal strength is tuned.
ASTB lights on the front display panel when a FM stereo 
programme is received.
You can also press SOURCE on the front panel to select the 
desired band in step 1.
Preset Memory - Store Memory
Once a station is assigned to a channel number, the station can be 
quickly tuned in. You can preset up to 30 FM and 15 AM stations.

Tune in to the station you want to preset.

Press MEMORY.
The preset number blinks on the 
front display panel.

While blinking, press the number 
keys
 or PR +/– to set the preset 
number.

Press MEMORY.
87.80 MHz is assigned to FM1.
NOTES:
If no operation is carried out within 5 seconds when the display is 
blinking, the preset will not be stored and the display changes 
back to its original frequency.
When you have entered an input beyond the range using the 
number keys, the preset number will return to 1 if you press 
PR +/–.
Pressing the + and  key of PR +/– increases and decreases the 
preset number by 1 respectively.
Preset Tuning
Press the number keys or PR +/– to tune to the station stored to 
the preset number.
Number keys Can specify the preset number directly.
PR +/–
Gradually increases or decreases the preset 
number by 1 from the preset number of the 
current reception.
To call up preset number 3

Press the number key 
A3B or 
PR +/– to set to preset number 3.
The preset number blinks for a 
few seconds before lighting up. 
The preset number is fixed once 
it lights up.
Switching The FM Mode
When an FM stereo broadcast is hard to receive or noisy, you can 
change the FM reception mode while receiving an FM broadcast.
You can set the FM reception mode for each preset station.

Press FM MODE during FM reception.
Each time you press the button, the FM reception switches 
between 
AAUTOB and AMONOB.

Turn on the unit.
Set the remote control selector switch to AUDIO.
Press FM/AM on the remote control.

Normally select this.
Stereo sound will be heard during stereo 
broadcast, and monaural sound during 
monaural broadcast.
This mode is also useful to suppress 
static noise between stations.
MONO
Select this to improve the reception. 
(However, stereo will not be effective.)
