iPod® Playback
With the S-302, you can listen to music or view photo data 
on an iPod. It is also possible to operate the iPod from the 
main unit or remote control unit.
iPod is a trademark of Apple Computer, Inc., registered in 
the U.S. and other countries.

 The iPod may only be used to copy or play contents that are not 
copyrighted  or  contents  for  which  copying  or  playback  is  legally 
permitted for your private use as an individual. Be sure to comply 
with applicable copyright legislation.
NOTE
• DENON will accept no responsibility whatsoever for any loss of iPod 
data.
• Depending  on  the  type  of  iPod  and  the  software  version,  some 
functions may not operate.

Switching the S-302’s display (FL)
During playback, press [DISPLAY].
The display switches each time the button is pressed.

• In  the  browse  mode,  when  “Songs”  is  selected  from  the  “TOP 
MENU” while a track is playing, the track stops.
• The maximum battery charging output from the iPod terminal is 8W.
• See page 33 for the remote control unit buttons that can be operated 
when the function is set to “iPod”.

When an iPod is connected and a slide show is playing, the iPod is not 
charged. Charge it ahead of time.
Disconnecting the iPod
Set the S-302’s power to the standby mode using
ON/
STANDBY
.
It is also possible to use <FUNCTION>[DVD/CD][FM/AM],[AUX] or [NET/
USB] 
to switch the input source to something other than “iPod” then 
disconnect the iPod.
