This transceiver allows you to switch the DTMF
number transmission speed between Fast (default)
and Slow.  If a repeater cannot respond to the fast
speed, access Menu 1–3–2 (TX SPEED) and select
“Slow”.
You can also change pause duration stored in
memory channels; the default is 500 msec.  Access
Menu 1–3–4 (PAUSE).  The selectable pauses are
100, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1500, and 2000 msec.
Transmitting a Stored DTMF Number
Press [PTT]+[MENU].
Release only [MENU], then press [UP][DWN] to
select the desired DTMF memory channel.
While still holding [PTT], press [MENU] again.
• The number stored in the channel scrolls across the
display accompanied by DTMF tones from the
speaker.
• After transmission, the frequency display is restored.
If you need not confirm the memory channel
contents, press [0] to [9] instead of [UP][DWN] in
step 2 to select a channel number.  The stored DTMF
number will be immediately transmitted.  You need
not press [MENU] in step 3.
