  Remove the hoop from the carriage and remove the    
fabric from the hoop.
    Place the template sheet on the fabric. 
    Align the marking points of the sewn pattern and  
 
template sheet.
NOTE:
If semi-opaque paper is not available, print the
template sheet on plain paper and cut the left side 
at the marking points (along the broken line in the 
illustration).

  Mark the end points of the vertical centerline for the    
second pattern.

Border Designs
Border design patterns SQ14-145 to SQ14-146 can be 
accurately connected to each other with the built-in 
marking points.
Example: Connecting border design patterns SQ14-145 
and SQ14-146.

  Print template sheets on semi-opaque paper for
border design patterns SQ14-145 and SQ14-146 by 
using Horizon Link Suite.

  Place the template sheet on the fabric and mark the    
end points of the centerlines with tailor’s chalk. Draw   
centerlines on the fabric.
    The horizontal line should be long enough to connect
the next patterns.

  Set the fabric in the hoop and attach the hoop to the   
carriage.
    Select border design pattern SQ14-145 and adjust the 
hoop position with the jog keys.
    Press the start/stop button and a message will appear 
asking you to sew the first marking points.
    Press the X key to skip sewing them and press the    
start/stop button to start sewing.

  When finished sewing the design pattern, a message  
for the last 2 marking points will appear.
    Press the OK key and press the start/stop button to    
sew the last 2 marking points.
