Using a bi-amplifier 
connection

Select “Settings” from the home 
menu, then press

The Settings menu list appears on the 
TV screen.

Select “Speaker Settings”, then

Select the appropriate speaker 
pattern so that there are no 
surround back speakers and front 
high speakers, then press

Select “SB Assign”, then press

The same signals output from the 
SPEAKERS FRONT A terminals can 
be output from the SPEAKERS 
SURROUND BACK/ BI-AMP/ 
FRONT HIGH/ FRONT B terminals.
To exit the menu
Press HOME.
• Set the “SB Assign” to “Bi-Amp” before you 
perform Auto Calibration.
• If you set the “SB Assign” to “Bi-Amp”, the 
speaker level and distance settings of the 
surround back speakers and front high speakers 
become invalid, and those of the front speakers 
are used.
Reverting back to the 
factory default settings 
You can clear all memorized settings and
revert the receiver back to the factory 
default settings by performing the 
following procedure. This procedure can 
also be used to initialize the receiver before 
you use it for the first time.
Be sure to use the buttons on the receiver to 
perform this operation.

Press ?/1 to turn off the receiver.

Hold down ?/1 for 5 seconds.
The “CLEARING” appears on the 
display panel for a while, then changes 
to “CLEARED!”.
Changes or adjustments made to the 
settings are now reset to the defaults.
It takes about a few minutes for the memory to be 
cleared completely. Do not turn the receiver off 
until “CLEARED!” appears on the display.
