This design is used, where a 

‘Chairman’ is either controlling 

the system or monitoring the 

system and where a 

‘Technician’ can take over the 

control of the system if needed. 

Administration is done on the 

‘Technician’ PC. 

Reservations 

Running the CUI on a Windows 

7 operating system is  only 

suitable for systems with up to 

10  users.  With more than 10 

users, the CUI must run on a 

Windows Server.  
For systems with less than 25 

users, the SQL Server Express 

Edition can be used. For 

systems with more than 25 

users, it is recommended to 

use an SQL Server version for 

better performance.  
SQL Servers require Microsoft 

licenses.
