Restoring from an image file
Restoring from an image file
You can restore either of the following:
A hard disk
A partition
The restore is made from a previously created image file that has been stored on 
one of the following:
A second hard disk
A second partition on your hard disk
JAZ or ZIP disk
CD-R/RW
DVD
Tape
Mapped network drive
Drive on another computer (peer-to-peer)
Restoring a hard disk from an image file
When you restore a hard disk, it is overwritten by the contents of the image file.
To restore a disk from an image file

On the main menu, do one of the following:
Local: Click Local > Disk > From Image.
Peer-to-peer connection: Click Disk > From Image.

In the File Locator dialog box, do one of the following:
Type the path and file name of the image file.
Click Browse to locate the image file. 
Specify the drive or device and select the full path name. The image file 
may reside on a local drive or on a locally mapped network file server. 
When using peer-to-peer connections, the image file is located on the 
slave computer.
