Log in to the P330 Stack Processor with a 
LAN Connection

With a connection to the customer’s LAN (either remotely or on site), telnet to the P330 stack 
processor IP address:
Type 
telnet <xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx>
, where <xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx> is the IP address of the P330 stack 
master processor on the customer’s LAN.

Login at the Welcome to Avaya P330 screen.

Log in to the P330 Stack Processor with a 
Direct Serial Connection
Use this procedure to access the G700 processors when your laptop is directly connected to the Console 
port via a serial cable.
To access the G700 via the Console (serial) port

Launch Windows® HyperTerminal or any other terminal emulation program.
NOTE:
For most Windows-based PCs, you access the HyperTerminal program from the 
Start
 
menu by selecting 
Programs
, then 
Accessories
.

Choose 
Call - Connect 
(for HyperTerminal) or the appropriate call command for your terminal 
emulation program.
