36 Relay XMT Password
Enter a Relay XMT Password (up to 10 characters) to be used for the
protection against unauthorized (outside) stations from accessing
your machine to relay messages to a G3 fax machine via PSTN. This
password should be given out to authorized people only.
z
Program “36 Relay XMT Password” to enable this machine
to work as a relay station.
As the relay password is transmitted in the header of Email, it should
be differentiated from the Email address used by Email or Internet
Fax. A relay password pre-programmed in this way would be easy to
identify when Internet Fax is received.
