 - COMMUNICATION STATUS
In the Standby Mode, press:
JOB STATUS
The following screen shows an
example of the Job Status dis-
play when the phone line is in
use for 10 seconds (BUSY
lamp blinking):
With the phone line status in
Step 1 displayed, you can ei-
ther continue or cancel the job.
To continue, wait for the fac-
simile to return to the Standby
Mode or press 
STOP
.
To cancel and erase the dis-
played job, press:
JOB CANCEL
Press one of the following
keys.
To cancel the job, press:
To continue without cancelling
the job, press:
Continue or Cancel

When no jobs are re-
served or being pro-
cessed, the screen be-
low is displayed for 2
seconds.
The job being processed can
be monitored via the LCD. You
can cancel the job if neces-
sary.
NOTES:
When no communication
job is being processed,
only the number of re-
served jobs is displayed
as below.
While the screen above is dis-
played, pressing 
JOB STATUS
 will dis-
play the Pending Job for 10
seconds.

A Communication Journal (or
Transmission Journal and Re-
ception Journal separately) can
be issued to confirm the last
40 transmissions and 40 recep-
tions.
With the Standby Mode screen
displayed, select the function
key on the operation panel.
Press:
JOURNAL
A communication journal is is-
sued automatically when 40
transmissions or receptions are
completed if programmed.
