To enable secure communications mode:
In the Collaboration Server Management pane, click IP Network Services.
In the IP Network Services list pane, double-click the Management Network entry.
Click the Security tab.
The Management Security Properties dialog box is displayed.
Select the Secured Communication check box.
Select the Certificate Validation mode by checking or clearing the Skip certificate validation for user 
logging session field as set out in the following table:

RMX and Client Certificate Requirements

The RMX must install a personal certificate issued by a CA.
The Client must install a personal certificate issued by a CA.
The public key of the CA must be installed in the RMX.
Note: When the RMX Manager is the Client, all Personal Certificates 
in the workstation's Certification Repository are sent to the RMX.
When using the RMX Web ClientInternet Explorer gives the user the 
option to select the Personal Certificate to be used from the 
workstation's Certification Repository.
