Operation
Removing a Disc
#
Turn on the drive.
The drive is turned on/off automatically
when the computer is turned on/off.
$
Press the Open Button.
(The Disc Cover will open by selecting
[Eject] in the active application.)

Open the Disc Cover.

Make sure the disc has stopped
rotating.

Remove the disc.
Pressing the disc spindle, lift the disc by
holding its edge.
Caution:
B When using the drive connected to a computer, make sure POWER/BUSY
Indicator (green) is not blinking, or WRITE Indicator (amber) is not lit after the
application using this drive is closed.
Notes:
B The Disc Cover is locked while the media formatted with B’s CLiP is used.
Release the lock by selecting [Eject] from the indicator in Task Tray.
B During data writing, the WRITE Indicator lights and the Disc Cover is locked,
so it will not open.
This drive has a power-open mechanism. The Disc Cover will not open when
power is turned off.
