Do not partition the virtual
disk that initially mounts on your OS.
This example illustrates the JBOD RAID mode,
which optimizes the LaCie 2big for performance when
configured as a software RAID 0 on the host computer.
Launch
Disk Utility
from the Applications / Utili-
ties folder (Fig. 3.3.2-A).
