Click the Zoom In button (  ) twice. The dark gray area in the overview bar becomes incrementally smaller as less of the waveform 
appears in the data window. 
Zooming in on a selection decreases the size of the 
dark gray area 
However, the selection remains the same size and does not move. This allows you to quickly locate a selection, even when another 
section of an audio file is displayed. 
Navigating in the overview bar 
1.  
Open the Voiceover.pca file. 
2.  
Click the Zoom In button (  ) until you reach a 1:32 zoom ratio. 
3.  
Click outside the dark gray in the overview bar. The cursor position changes, but the cursor is located beyond the scope of the data 
window. 
4. 
Double-click anywhere in the overview bar. The cursor position updates and centers in the data window. 
Playing audio in the overview bar 
To make navigating a file from the overview bar easier, you can start audio playback from the overview bar. 
1.  
Open the Voiceover.pca file. 
2.  
Right-click the overview bar. Playback of the file begins from the cursor location. 
3.  
Right-click the overview bar again. Playback pauses. 
4.  
Right-click the overview bar once more and immediately left-click at several random positions in the overview bar. Each time you 
click the mouse in the overview bar during playback, the cursor jumps to the new location and playback continues. The feature is 
useful for quickly navigating a file and locating general events.
