12-Slot VMEbus Backplane
Overview
This chapter provides a physical and electrical description of the 12-slot
VME bus backplane used in the MVME956AC chassis. Refer to

Physical Description
The backplane was designed to accommodate VME modules and disk
drive units. It accommodates up to 12 double-high user VME modules
containing both P1 and P2 connectors. The backplane is fully assembled
with connectors and terminators. It contains:

Backplane Power
VME modules that plug into the backplane require voltages of +5 Vdc,
+12 Vdc, and -12 Vdc for operation. The MVME956AC chassis contains
a power supply and wiring that provide these voltages to the backplane.
