This section explains the overview of the PPG. 

The programmable pulse generator (PPG) is used to obtain one-shot (rectangular wave) or pulse width 

modulation (PWM) outputs. The PPG can easily adapt itself to a wide range of applications because the 

cycle and duty of its output can be programmed by software.
