If you intend to enable printing of debug messages in the
driver, add the following line to /sys/conf/options:

To install the 3ware driver as a module

Copy the driver from the 3ware CD-ROM at
/packages/drivers/freebsd/
<OS version>
For FreeBSD 4.x, copy the driver into
/modules
For FreeBSD 5.x, copy the driver into
/boot/kernel.

Load the driver
kldload twa.ko
If units are present, you should see unit information in the
system log (usually,

/var/log/messages
