Specify (or unspecify) a drive as a 
hot spare

they can be removed and used with 
a controller other than a 9000-series 
controller.

where you can see the software 
versions (BIOS, Firmware, monitor),

of the 3ware card, and whether or 
not BBU-support is available.)
