Requires the use of POP
Authentication before Send e-mail
(POP before SMTP):
Check the “POP before SMTP” check box
when POP authentication is needed before
connecting to the SMTP server.
Ingoing Mail Server (POP3):
Enter the address of the POP3 server to be
used for POP Authentication (POP before
SMTP).
Account Name:
Enter the name of the e-mail account.
Password:
Enter the password for the e-mail account.
Send Test Mail:
A test e-mail message can be sent to
specified destinations. Check this check
box and click Apply to send a test e-mail.

If the following items are not set or the
settings are incorrect, an error message
appears and the test e-mail message cannot
be sent.
• Destination addresses
• The Mail Address of the Mail Account

and the address of the SMTP server

Advanced (Advanced settings)
Sets the advanced settings required to use
various application software on the
network. Refer to the setting requirements
of the application software you want to use
as well.

RESET button
Press and hold this button using a thin stick
for more than 3 seconds to clear all the
settings you made in the Setup window.
