Setting Up Your Dell Streak 7 Tablet

Charge the battery

 

CAUTION: 

Charging your tablet when the ambient temperature is not 

between 0°C - 45°C can damage your tablet.

 

NOTE: 

The battery cannot be charged by connecting your device to a 

computer.

 

NOTE: 

The battery is not fully charged when first unpacked.

Connect the supplied USB cable's 30-pin connector to the 30-pin 
port on the device.

Connect the cable's USB connector to the supplied USB wall-
charger adapter.

Connect the USB wall-charger adapter into an electrical outlet 
and charge the device until the battery is fully charged.

 

NOTE: 

When charging the battery by connecting the device to an 

electrical outlet, the battery is fully charged in about 4 hours.

 

NOTE: 

The cable is specific for this device: 30-pin to USB and the length 

is less than 3 meters.

Hold the SD card with the metal contacts facing down, and follow the 
SD card illustration on the slot door label to insert the SD card into the 
SD card slot.
