Follow the directions here to perform a modem refill on your control centre.

account balance at any time.
Your system must be connected to an analog phone line to do so.
NOTE: Whenever you check your Postage By Phone

account balance or add
postage to your meter (see Performing a Modem Refill), your system
automatically checks for updates, performs a rate or software update, and
performs a postal inspection.
