This section summarizes the procedure when installing the SAGEM F@st™ 1100 for the first
time.

Check the compatibility of the mains supply with the SAGEM F@st™ 1100.

!

Check with your Operator to ensure that the ADSL line is available.

!

Check with your Access Provider to ensure that your subscription is valid.

!

Install the drivers of your SAGEM F@st™ 1000.

Connect the SAGEM F@st™ 1000:
• to the mains supply,
• to the remote network via an ADSL compatible telephone line,
• to your computer via USB interface.

Check that the connections have been correctly made, as indicated by the four LEDs on the
SAGEM F@st™ 1000. The required LED states will depend on whether the USB or Ethernet
mode is used:

Green, on steady Green, on steady Green, on steady Green, on steady

This table shows the state of the LEDs before connecting the USB cable (see chapter 3 for
details).
