5.25-inch modular bay

Use this bay for a DVD, CD-RW, or combination 
DVD/CD-RW drive. For more information, see “Changing 
drives” on page 96.

To determine the type of drive in the modular bay, 
examine the drive tray’s plastic cover and compare the 
logo to those listed in “Identifying drive types” on 
page 94.

Undock button

Press this button to prepare your notebook to be 
undocked while your notebook is turned on. For more 
information, see “Separating from the docking station” on 
page 33.

Use this bay for a diskette drive. For more information, 
see “Changing drives” on page 96.
