Figure 2-4 shows the computer’s back side.

In areas where an internal modem is installed as 

standard equipment, there is a modem jack that 

allows you to use a modular cable to connect the 

modem directly to a telephone line. The modem 

is not supported in some marketing regions.

A FM tuner jack enables FM tuner antenna 

connection.

Optical disc drive A DVD Super Multi (+-R DL) drive, a HD DVD-

ROM drive or a HD DVD-RW drive.

The AC adaptor connects to this socket. Use only 

the model of AC adaptor that comes with the 

computer. Using the wrong adaptor can damage 

your computer.

Security lock slot A security cable attaches to this slot. The 

optional security cable anchors your computer to 

a desk or other large object to deter theft.
