Hardware, Utilities and Options
Optional Device
Optional devices can expand the computer’s capabilities and its versatility. 
The following optional devices are available from your TOSHIBA dealer:
Cards/Memory
Memory cards: Secure Digital(SD), Secure Digital High 
Capacity(SDHC), Memory Stick(MS), Memory Stick Pro(MS Pro), 
MultiMediaCard(MMC) and xD-Picture Card (xD).
Windows
Mobility Center
This section describes the Windows Mobility 
Center.
Mobility Center is a utility for accessing several 
mobile PC settings quickly in one window. A 
default maximum of seven tiles are provided by 
the operating system, and the additional two tiles 
are added to your Mobility Center.
Lock Computer: This can be used to lock your 
computer without turning it off. This has the 
same function as the Lock button at the 
bottom of the right pane in the start menu.
TOSHIBA Assist: This can be used to open 
TOSHIBA Assist if it is already installed in 
your computer.
TOSHIBA HDD/SSD 
Alert
The TOSHIBA HDD/SSD Alert includes wizard 
functions to monitor the Disk Drive operating 
status and execute system backup.
TOSHIBA USB Sleep 
and Charge Utility
This utility is able to either enable or disable the 
USB Sleep and Charge function.
This utility shows the positions of USB ports that 
support the USB Sleep and Charge function and 
displays the battery's remaining capacity.
To start this utility, click Start -> All Programs -> 
TOSHIBA -> Utilities -> USB Sleep and Charge
TOSHIBA eco Utility
TOSHIBA eco Utility helps you monitor your 
power savings by showing approximate real time 
power consumption. Furthermore, it shows 
approximate accumulated power consumption 
and approximate accumulated power savings 
when using eco mode daily, weekly, and monthly. 
You can track power savings by using eco mode 
continuously.
