Wireless 
communication 
switch 
Slide this switch to the left to turn on Bluetooth 
and Wireless LAN. Slide it to the right to turn off 
the functions. 
Set the switch to off in airplanes and hospitals. Check the wireless 
communication indicator. It will stop glowing when the wireless 
communication function is off. 
 
Infrared port 
This infrared port is compatible with Infrared 
Data Association (IrDA 1.1) standards. It enables 
cable less 4 Mbps, 1.152 Mbps, 115.2 kbps, 
57.6 kbps, 38.4 kbps, 19.2 kbps or 9.6 kbps 
data transfer with IrDA 1.1 compatible external 
devices.

  Tablet PC Pen 
The Pen is contained in the right hand side. A 
pen enables data entry directly through display 
screen. Refer to the Using the Tablet PC Pen 
section Chapter 4, Operating Basics. 
  Tablet PC Pen slot 
This Tablet PC pen slot is contained of a Tablet 
PC pen. 
  Security lock slot 
A security cable is attached to this slot. The 
optional security cable anchors your computer to 
a desk or other large object to deter theft.
