To supply power to your computer while it is connected to the docking 
station, you can connect the AC adapter directly to the docking station.

Turn off your computer and disconnect all peripherals.

On the back of the computer, lift the docking station port cover.

Align the indentation on the bottom of the computer with the guide 
post on the docking station.

Make sure the docking station lever is in the 

 position. Align the 

guide posts on the docking station with the openings on the back of 
the computer, and then slide the computer in the direction of the 
arrow until it stops.
