To remove the DVD-ROM or CD-RW drive

Right-click the Power Management icon
in the system task tray and
choose “Remove multipurpose bay device [IDE].” A message appears

Slide the RELEASE lever on the bottom of the computer in the direction of

Click OK on the message screen.
