to communicate with mobile phones in the car. The

wireless technology is a radio
technology that connects devices, such as mobile
phones and headsets, without wires or cords
over a short distance of approximately 10 meters

Bluetooth

wireless profiles are the different
ways that
Bluetooth
®
devices communicate with
other devices.
Bluetooth
®
phones support either
the headset profile (HSP), the hands-free profile
(HFP) or both. In order to support a certain profile,
a phone manufacturer must implement certain
mandatory features within the phone’s software.
The followings are the currently supported profiles
for BLT573.
Headset Profile (HSP)
This is the most commonly used profile, providing
minimal controls including the ability to ring,
answer a call, hangs up and adjusts the volume.

Passkey or PIN is a code that you enter on your
mobile phone to pair it with the

work together.

Object Push Profile (OPP)
A basic profile for sending “objects”, such as
contacts and virtual business cards. It is called
push because the transfers are always instigated
by the sender (Client), not the receiver (Server).
