Step 1: Connect the Gateway

Before connecting the Gateway, make sure you have all the
setup information that your Internet Service Provider (ISP)
requires.

Make sure that all network hardware is turned off, including the
Gateway, computer(s), and cable or DSL modem.

Connect the Ethernet cable from one of the LAN ports on the
Gateway to the Ethernet port on your computer. Optional:

Gateway to an additional computer or network device. You can
also connect another Ethernet cable from the WAN port on the
Gateway to your cable or DSL modem.
