To download newer software

Login to the WMG web-based utility: http://192.168.1.1

Select the Advanced Setup tab.

From the Utilities menu shown on the right, click Update
Media Server Application.

Click Browse > go to the folder where you downloaded the
latest Media Server file from the ViewSonic support site in the
previous step. A typical file extension for firmware upgrades is
.tar.

Highlight the .tar file > click Open > click Upload > wait about
10 minutes. A message appears asking you to reboot > click
Yes to reboot.
