add <variable name
<LDAP attribute
[<prefix>] [<suffix>]
Adds an LDAP macro to the configuration. You are 
prompted to enter the following information:
variable name
 — the name of the variable.
LDAP attribute
 — the LDAP user attribute 
whose value will be retrieved from the client’s 
LDAP/Active Directory user record.
prefix
 — if the value string of the LDAP attribute 
is long and you wish to extract only part of it, the 
values at the start of the string that you want to 
ignore. Combine with a suffix if the value you want 
is in the middle of the string.
suffix
 — if the value string of the LDAP attribute 
is long and you wish to extract only part of it, the 
values at the end of the string that you want to 
ignore. Combine with a prefix if the value you want 
is in the middle of the string.
The system automatically assigns the next available 
index number to the macro.
insert <index number
<variable name>
Inserts a macro at a particular position in the list of 
LDAP macros in the configuration.
index number
 — the index number you want 
the macro to have
variable name
 — the LDAP macro you are 
adding
The index number you specify must be in use. The 
index numbers of existing macros with this index 
number and higher are incremented by 1.
move <index number
<new index number>
Moves a macro up or down the list of macros in the 
configuration. 
index number
 — the original index number of 
the macro you want to move
new index number
 — the index number 
representing the new position of the macro in the 
list
The index numbers of the remaining entries adjust 
accordingly.
