3.  Logical Volume Manager is an optional component for Windows MSCS Cluster Solutions. Use of Veritas Volume Manager (or Storage Foundation) allows use of Dynamic disks in

clusters.

4.  Refer to the Veritas Volume Manager table for restrictions/recommendations for Storage Foundation 5.0 with DMP or PowerPath.
5.  PowerPath with Encryption does not support dynamic disks. PowerPath with Encryption is not supported with Windows 2008. Please refer to the PowerPath Encryption with RSA

7.  Remote administration of Windows Computer Cluster 2003 can be accomplished via installed remote components. These remote components are supported on Windows 2003

operating systems with Service Pack 1 or higher (R2 also supported), Windows XP Professional x64 version, and Windows XP Professional x86 with service pack 2.

8.  Individual nodes in a Compute Cluster Server configuration connected to EMC storage must use a valid server/HBA combination from the Base Connectivity tables.

2.  Windows 2008 Server Core option is supported by EMC. Contact your server vendor to determine their support statement for Server Core.
3.  Valid MSCS quorum resource configurations include both 'shared disk quorum' and 'majority node set' schemes.
4.  Cluster software is not supported on Stratus ftServers.
5.  Native to Windows 2008 Server installation.
6.  For Windows 2008 Server Core installations, Native MPIO is failover only. There are no load balancing options available by default.
