IP Ping Command
The ip ping command sends a signal to a host (IP address) on a network to see if that host is reachable
from your host, as shown in the next example.

Syntax:
ip ping <hostid>
where <hostid> is the destination host (IP address) you want to ping.
IP Route Status Command
The ip route status command displays a routing table. A routing table consists of routing information
specific to your system, as shown in the next example.
