Introducing the ZyWALL Web Configurator
This chapter shows you how to configure your firewall with the Web Configurator.
15.1 Web Configurator Login and Welcome Screens
Launch your web browser and enter 192.168.1.1 as the URL. This is the factory default IP address of the
ZyWALL when shipped. You will see the following Login screen.

1. The default Username and Password is "admin" and "1234" respectively.
2. The Password is configurable, but the Username is not.
3. The Password is case sensitive.
4. The Web Configurator times out after five minutes of inactivity. The time out is not
configurable.
5. Please make sure that your web browser is Java and JavaScript enabled.
You can ONLY configure the firewall via ZyWALL Web Configurator or CLI command. You will not be
able to access the ZyWALL Web Configurator from the WAN if:
