The adapter name shown in Device Manager should be "KF221TX

Fast Ethernet PCI Adapter". The installation is proper if there is no

"?" or "!" mark ahead of the adapter line.

2. If you are using TCP/IP protocol, you can use Ping command

under DOS mode to check the adapter itself. The command is

> p i n g   1 2 7 . 0 . 0 . 1
