Redirect 
The default WAN connection is "1' as your broadband connection via the WAN port 
should always be your preferred method of accessing the WAN. The default priority of 
the routes is WAN and then Traffic Redirect.  
Apply 
Click Apply to save your changes back to the HomeSafe. 
Reset 
Click Reset to begin configuring this screen afresh. 
8.4  Configuring WAN ISP 
To change your HomeSafe’s WAN ISP settings, click WAN, then the WAN ISP tab. The screen 
differs by the encapsulation.  
 
8.4.1 Ethernet 
Encapsulation 
The screen shown next is for Ethernet encapsulation.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Encapsulation 
You must choose the Ethernet option when the WAN port is used as a regular 
Ethernet. 
Service Type 
Choose from StandardTelstra (RoadRunner Telstra authentication method), RR-
Manager
 (Roadrunner Manager authentication method), RR-Toshiba (Roadrunner 
Toshiba authentication method) or Telia Login.  
The following fields do not appear with the Standard service type. 
User Name 
Type the user name given to you by your ISP. 
Password 
Type the password associated with the user name above. 
Retype to Confirm 
Type the password again to make sure that you have entered it correctly. 
Login Server IP 
Address 
Type the authentication server IP address here if your ISP gave you one.
