• Back up the configuration (and make sure you know how to restore it).
Restoring an earlier working configuration may be useful if the device becomes
unstable or even crashes. If you forget your password, you will have to reset
the NWA to its factory default settings. If you backed up an earlier configuration
file, you won’t have to totally re-configure the NWA; you can simply restore
your last configuration.
1.6 Hardware Connections
See your Quick Start Guide for information on making hardware connections.
1.6.1 Antennas
Note: The figure shown in this section is from the NWA-3160. Your device may differ
in minor ways.
The NWA-3160 and NWA-3163 have two antennas. When you are looking at the
NWA from the front, the main antenna is on the left. The main antenna can both
transmit and receive. If you have only one antenna, attach it to the connector on
the left of the NWA.
