In  both  scenarios,  user  A  only  needs  to  pick  up  the  phone  and  press 

“*66#”,  and  B  will  ring 

automatically. 

 

 

 

With the distinctive ring feature, you can assign different ringing tones to different incoming calls, 

based  either  on  the  number  that  calls  you  or  from  where  the  call  originates  (SIP,  PSTN  or 

internal). Use this feature to let you know where a call comes from before you answer it. 

 

 

Application Scenario: 

1.  Ring Selection by Incoming Number: Different call (from family/workmate/friend/VIP) has 

the different ring. 

2.  Ring Selection by Incoming Line: If the phone number is not in the group, phone ring tone 

will be based on where it comes from. (SIP/PSTN/Internal). 

 

You may configure Distinctive Ring easily on web GUI: VoIP > Phone Book > Distinctive Ring
