Connect to Network Storage 

Web Menu -> Configuration -> 

System -> 

Click ‘Mail notification’

Click ‘Use’ to set the Mail 

notification feature.

If the default Port number of the mail server isn’t 25, then enter the port number. This 

usually occurs when SMTP SSL is specified. 

This is enabled when the user’s mail server requires login.

Enter the ID and Password of the mail server being used.

e.g. ) SMTP servers that use web mail such as smtp.mail.yahoo.com, must go 

through login process. Please refer the Help guide of the Web mail service.

Depending on the kind of mail servers, the login authentication information is sent 

encrypted. In this situation, it is enabled.

e.g. ) SSL authentication is necessary for smtp.gmail.com. Please refer the Help 

guide of the Web mail service.

Enter the receiving administrator’s mail address. 
Through advanced settings, select and enter the HDD status report and sending cycle.  
Click on‘Save’
