Settings
[LAMP RELAY]
The degradation of the lamp due to continuous usage 
can be reduced by automatically switching the lamp 
to be turned on when using the projector continuously 
for 22 hours or more. 
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [LAMP RELAY]. 
2)  Press 
◀▶ to switch [LAMP RELAY].

The time setting to switch the lamp will change 
as follows each time you press the button. 
[OFF]

The “LAMP RELAY” function will be enabled when 
[LAMP SELECT] is set to [DUAL] or [SINGLE]. 
 
z
Only one lamp is turned on for four hours after the 
set time when [LAMP SELECT] is set to [DUAL].

The operating time will be the local time. (
 page 65)
[LAMP POWER]
You can switch the brightness of the lamp in 
accordance with the environment or purpose of usage 
of the projector. 
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [LAMP POWER]. 
2)  Press 
◀▶ to switch [LAMP POWER].

Set when high luminance is 
necessary.

When set to [LOW], the reduction of power 
consumption, less operation sound, and longer life 
of the lamp can be achieved. 
[STANDBY MODE]
You can set the power consumption during the 
standby. 
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [STANDBY MODE]. 
2)  Press 
◀▶ to switch [STANDBY 
MODE].

[NORMAL]
[ECO]

When set to [ECO], the network function and the 
<SERIAL OUT> terminal is not available during 
the standby. Also, some of the RS-232C command 
will not be available. When set to [NORMAL], the 
network function and the <SERIAL OUT> terminal 
will be available during the standby. 
 
z
When set to [ECO], the time it takes to start the 
projection may become approximately ten seconds 
slower than compared to when set to [NORMAL]. 
[RS-232C]
You can set the communication condition of the 
<SERIAL IN>/<SERIAL OUT> terminals.
1)  Press ▲▼ to select [RS-232C]. 
2)  Press the <ENTER> button. 
3)  Press 
▲▼ to select the communication 
condition. 
4)  Press ◀▶ to set it.
