Use the on/off switch on the mouse to, for example, save battery power when you temporarily do not use the mouse. When you do not use
the mouse for a longer period of time, we recommend removing the battery altogether.
Fitting the USB receiver
There is no need to install any software in order to activate the USB receiver. Under Windows 98SE the computer may prompt for the Windows
98SE CD-ROM.
Completing the connection
An 'ID button' (Link Button) is located at the rear of the USB receiver; when pressed once the green LED on the receiver will start blinking.
Another 'ID button' (Link Button) is located underneath the mouse; when pressed, the green LED on the receiver will start blinking for a brief
period of time. The mouse is now ready for use. The LED on the receiver will blink for a period of +/- 15 sec. The procedure must be completed
within this period.
